Kind of like laying on a parachute! It was lightweight, repelled sand as they said it would. However what it didn’t mention because it repelled water you were laying in a puddle of your own sweat.Even with the little pouches full of sand and using the stakes that it came with, this thing kept lifting up in the ocean breeze.I had to pile towels and bags on it to keep it laying flat. It will probably be good to sit on watching kids ball practice and such, but I definitely will look for some thing else for our next beach trip.
