Review on Renewed Sony SRS-XB33/CC Portable Bluetooth Speaker in Taupe with Enhanced Extra Bass by Hideo Ebara ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

For trips, a good option for the above parameters. The battery level appeared (you need to press the button on the back and it speaks in% in English), it was not in the last series. I also note that it takes more than half of 20,000 powerbanks from xiaomi to charge it (so far it has not been possible to completely discharge it), so it is a good powerbank itself. I think in the new series, in order to increase the life time, I had to sacrifice sound, but I could be wrong. Being an active user of Sony, I will say that this is definitely not their best product. I wouldn’t advise for a house, it’s better to buy something larger, I have HK onyx 6, it’s quite suitable for an apartment so as not to disturb the neighbors.

Pros
  • Long-lasting battery, wear-resistant materials (dropped without consequences), waterproof. Sounds better outdoors than indoors. It lies firmly under the windshield of a rented car (if you don’t abruptly take off, of course).
Cons
  • So sound. Compared to the JBL charge 4, it sounds more detailed and smooth, with less bust in terms of bass, but this is not an achievement to be honest . The sound is plastic, the detail is so-so, the equalizer does not save much. I highly recommend listening before buying, although it did not help me in a noisy store. Before that, there was xb-22 (lost), it sounded cleaner, but also quieter of course, but there was no battery.
