I bought this chain to replace a recently broken chain. I originally kept the amulet on a different chain and when this chain arrived the loops were not detachable so I had to cut the wire a bit to make the amulet fit the chain as the hole on the pendant is only slightly larger than that 0.7 of the chain mm wide. So if you're looking for a chain to replace your old one and the hole in the pendant is small, expect to cut the wire a bit. In the end it worked for me and now I have a beautiful chain again.
