Review on Mounted Wheels Aluminum Abrasive Grinding by Steve Linquist

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Smaller shank, discs not well balanced - will not explode at grinding speeds

Pros: Very inexpensive ($9 for a set of 10). "x1").- They didn't explode at 25,000 rpm. Bad: - The shaft is very small (0.227" instead of 0.25"). Depending on your machine, your collet may not grip it. - They are quite unbalanced - if you run them at high speeds (e.g. in a mill), there will be strong vibrations. If you drive them with a drill, you'll be fine. Sandpaper is pretty marginal - it works, but only. I can't say anything about the durability yet, since I've only tried it out marginally, but I don't expect much. .I would not buy them again.
