They sent me a used rectifier. When I started to unpack it I saw it was already torn like someone had used it and I didn't like it so they sent it back. The plates were scratched so I could tell it had been used. There was no string on the cord, it was stuffed into a box. Also, the hair straightener looks and works well, I bought another one from Sally's Beauty Salon for the same price.
