I am a 6ft 2in tall male weightlifter weighing 240lbs who spends countless hours at home in front of the computer playing games, reading/ watch and compose/ I needed a comfortable chair that I could not only sit in for a long time, but also play the guitar comfortably if necessary. The guitar is next to impossible because the hands are in the way. Neither of them will lift or slide back, so I have to compromise by sitting so far forward on the edge of the seat that I risk falling and dropping the guitar. this and endless suffering from severe neck and back pain due to poor posture along the way. Everything is different with this chair – the armrests rise up and point towards the ceiling with ease and are almost completely removed from the road. you even have to stand up to do it - I can easily reach the back k and pick her up without moving the rest of me. The armrests are shorter than I'm used to and also sit further in the chair, forcing me to sit more upright and stop bending so I can rest my arms comfortably on them. The overall size of the chair is quite small, and by that I mean the physical space the chair takes up is very small - it has to be the most compact chair I've ever had. Assembly was easy for the most part. There were just over 10 screws and everything was clearly marked. The supplied hex wrench is typical for this type of chair, furniture etc. Some screws had free hand to be able to tighten them quickly, others got in the way of the plastic or seat lift arm. , which wasn't bad, but slowed down the build process. I would say it took me about 25 minutes. The chair kept rolling away from me as I assembled it! If you go this route, either have someone hold the chair while you tighten the hex nuts, or put the wheels on last. Time will tell how well it will hold up, but so far I am very happy with this chair. My back and neck also seem to be quite happy. UPDATE 09/05/20. I don't know what that's for, but when the chair is set to rock or tilt, there's a loud bang coming from the bottom of the chair. I've flipped it, checked all the screws, etc. but can't figure out where it's coming from. While this doesn't affect the use of the chair in any way, it is annoying indeed. It's loud enough that people can hear it over the phone when I'm on the phone.
