Great gift for pyrography!
I just learned to burn wood and make coasters for Christmas gifts, this wood is perfect! I've found that 300 degrees Celsius is just right for burning pictures and words (use carbon paper!). I also applied some paint with crayons and then coated the tile with clear varnish to seal it. The squares are just under 4 inches so I have to cut off the cork I bought for the bottoms, that's really the only downside. If you fire them on wood, be sure to make vertical fibers for clean lines :) I'm also planning to stick pictures onto some of these tiles for a DIY memory game for kids, they're very versatile!
