Bought as a 'helper' water source and my Shenron lizard uses it every day with no problem. Climbs straight onto the rock and lies down with his whole body 16 inches, 3 inches of water, and then comes straight out. Cleaning is easy as the bowl weighs around 4 pounds. This is a RELIABLE ceramic breed, whatever it may be. So picking it up can be tricky if you have a crowded tank or whatever. Lowering can be difficult if your wrist can't hold the weight, but if the reptile moves it, no chance. Even when it goes into total frenzy mode and the tail whips it with its 2 inch diameter tail, the water doesn't even move. This piece is sturdy, deep enough for even large lizards to pee, and goes perfectly with the rest of the set. Makes the desert tank work very well. Just note that this is a large body of water which I believe could be placed in a desert aquarium based on its looks. This will increase your moisture levels. Just cut out a large vent or add a PC fan for circulation and you'll see your numbers drop again.
