I am the mother of a 9 year old boy who wanted this very much for his birthday. My expectations were low and part of me fully expected to use the Revain Prime return option. However, I can say that the purchase was worth it after a week of playing with this toy. I will highlight some thoughts and features. First of all, you have to think like a child. This is just a great toy for my son to use to replicate this arcade game at home.- The claw comes in new packaging, tied up. It's a little pain; You need to get to where you dropped the prizes and solve them. I recommended doing this before the gift. My boys quickly found out which items they were allowed to take with them and which not. It's really part of the fun for them. Suction cups are hard to get hold of, but with practice, it's doable. My sons will be competing to see who can get the most before time runs out. The claw is not the strongest engine. but for small trinkets and candies, it works.- After the coin is inserted, you have 1 minute to get the treats. The music will play faster and faster until time runs out. Works best when machine is not full. Leave a place with an empty floor. If you build it too full it will be very difficult to play and less fun. Give your child a small bowl of treats to play with and play with them little by little. - As everyone says, this music is LOUD! I let them play with it in a closed bedroom until we decided to buy a potentiometer and volume control. I highly recommend this! Now we have a knob for adjusting the volume (it turns out to be 1K).
