I bought this to use my Coleman cooler while waiting for my fridge to be fixed. It's working fine so far. The device did not cause any problems and supplied my cool box with electricity non-stop for about 2 weeks. Whether such long-term use is advisable, I do not know. However, this device showed no signs of failure. The PSU is warm and never got above 100F, which is about a mild fever. I'm only drawing 4A with my cooler, so I don't think the converter is heavily loaded. This is a great addition to my gadget as I can definitely use this cooler and other compatible devices when AC power is available.
