Assembly required just 3 nuts and bolts to connect the assembly stand and the antenna itself deploys in seconds. Only 2 wing nuts were required to attach the antenna to the mast. I used our existing satellite dish mount and cables and the same cables after the splitter for different rooms in our house. The longest cable to our back room TV had a bit more attenuation and we got about 34 channels on that TV. The shortest cable to our TV in the living room received 86 channels. And all this after a splitter and a few splices, without a signal amplifier. I am very impressed with the performance. If coupled with an amplifier/booster there would be even more channels. There are antennas with built-in amplifiers for a similar price, but they probably don't have as much gain as these non-gain ones. I think this antenna gives excellent reception on its own and should outperform cheaper antennas when used with an amplifier.
