Review on Venice H2 Sandal for Women by KEEN by Reginald Ward

20 years of Keen shoes

I have been wearing Keen shoes for 20 years. Sandals (Newport and Venice) in summer and Mary Jane (Toyah & Presidio) with socks in winter and 3 pairs of flip flops (Kona & Bali) in house. I have a couple of rose style pairs that I don't like at all and I will never buy them again because they seem cheap. I have over 50 pairs of Keens and every year I buy at least 2 of each style because I don't want to run out of Keens as they are now the only shoes I wear. Teva but Keen offers much more toe protection. Newports have become my favorite water shoes. Yes, sand does seep into the insole, but it easily washes out in the river. Keyens are comfortable, wear well and I love the way they look, although they aren't typical fashion sandals. The older I get, the more comfort I need. I first bought sandals in a size 9 1/2 but with constant wear they lengthened and became quite loose. Now I buy a size 9 which fits closer to my toes but doesn't give me any problems. Over the years, Keen has discontinued many styles and colors of both Mary Jane shoes and sandals. 2 of my first Venetian sandals were real red and Venice is no longer made in that color. I would love to have a pair in red again. After over 10 years the soles of two pairs of water sandals came loose but I bought some glue to hold them together and still wear them. My goal is to have enough Keen shoes for the rest of my life.
