So far so good. I replaced the starter over the weekend and now the car starts like new again. Compared to the OEM starter, this TYC starter has a higher starting noise, but it doesn't really matter much. The addition of lock washers was a nice plus. For half the price (or less) of starters sold at local auto parts stores I am completely satisfied with this purchase. Update 04/14/2014: After 2 days of regular use, the starter stopped working. Troubleshooting revealed a defective starter magnet. Proof: The battery worked fine in the auto zone, but the 40-amp starter fuse kept blowing when attempting to start. After replacing the old starter, the car started normally. After checking with the electrical circuits, shorting out the starter solenoid is almost the only option. I'm currently back for a replacement hoping I caught a dud. I will update once the new launcher is installed.
