Review on Traffic Cop School Yard Game by Robert Espinoza

Lots of fun for young and old

From the illustrations on the box you might think this is a game only for young children. Nothing could be further from the truth: my granddaughters aged 13 and 9 absolutely love it. In fact, it's so much fun that some of the adults who were around watching them play had to join in... Me included! The instructions are well written and easy to understand. It's a kind of hybrid game, reminiscent of a combination of "UNO" and "Twister", in which the ultimate goal is to successfully cross a pedestrian crossing made of small foam mats. Because players choose how to lay out these mats, each game is unique as you will never use the same courses twice. the beginning of the transition through various means. Of course, the kids are more than happy to inflict this penalty on other players. Yield cards offer fun physical challenges, while Traffic Cop cards force the player to play a simple game (e.g. rock, paper, scissors). ) against the current ment. If they win, they slip into the shoes of the cops and put on the provided vest - a nice touch that increases the fun of the game. See the video on this page for some examples. Setting up the game is also very easy and only takes a few minutes. All of the components are fairly durable, especially the foam mats as they are constantly stepped on and jumped on. This is an amazingly fun unique game for all ages that will keep players entertained for hours. Kudos to its creators for marketing a product that easily deserves 5 stars.

  • COP: The gameplay is fun and moving! Lay out the mats to build an intersection, then let the traffic cop guide everyone with the spinner. Harvest cards add even more fun physics challenges.
