I bought this docking station because I was seriously missing ports on my laptop. I have an HP Specter 13 inch touchscreen laptop, very slim profile and easy to carry. The only drawback is the lack of connections on the laptop. This dock added versatility to the existing USB-C connection on my laptop. I was able to use the docking station to connect another computer monitor to my laptop. This allowed me to switch to two screens, an extended desktop. It also has a mini SD card connector. You can never have enough storage space. Finally, I considered connecting external speakers to the docking station.
