Conclusions Front: Ultra high definition lenses make this the best visual experience you can get in VR, especially for flight/racing sim users. Poor hand controls, a finicky head strap and poor quality spoil what could have been a 5. Pros: Fantastic resolution - I can even read small print posters in the virtual cockpit with ease. Invisible screen door effect. Cons: Hand controls just aren't very ergonomic. The headband and cable aren't very comfortable compared to the Oculus Rift, which I also own. The plastic part of the strap is also broken. I've only been using it for a few months and I don't use it for anything other than simulation, so I don't move around or jump around the room - toggle it on and off in my opinion. no different than what I did. with Oculus Rift for over a year and no problems with this device. Finally, more importantly, after about 5 months the device stopped working - it just stopped working. Additional Info: HP customer support DID honor the warranty but was reluctant. After a few lines of conversation, they pretended to be doing me a favor by sending me a new product under warranty. I appreciate that they finally honored it. I am less than enthusiastic about the distress they have caused me and have mixed feelings about HP. I'm still waiting for a block replacement.
