buy recommendation. It has made my life a lot easier. Not to mention less clutter. ADVANTAGES: 1. Automatic shredding. All you have to do is flip it. What else do you want.2. LED indicator to see exactly how much salt/pepper is poured.3. Huge container: you don't have to worry about refilling it several times a month. Just do it once and forget about it.4. The object does not stand on the pinch side and therefore remains clean. CONS: 1. Each requires 6 AAA batteries. Come on. Surely there is a better approach. If you are gifting this please make sure you donate the batteries with it. It's annoying to get 12 AAA (6pcs each).2. If your batteries run out, you're out of luck because the grinder won't work. So I would keep a spare meat grinder just in case. I like it overall! No more fiddling with your hands, especially when you're cooking a whole chicken and it needs a lot of salt or pepper.
