The instructions are very simple, although there are no written instructions (only pictures). It took me about an hour and a half to assemble, but that was because I was busy watching Riverdale and half paying attention to what I was doing. The table feels very sturdy and comes with extra nuts and bolts should you need them. I got this for my nephew for his 2nd birthday and when we gave it to his birthday party he was absolutely delighted (to my relief). He sat in it for about 30 minutes during the party, just playing with his toys and drinking his drink. The next day he cried when my brother tried to seat him at the table for dinner because he wanted to sit at his own table! Now balloons from his birthday party are attached to it and the place has become one of his favorite spots. The fact that he loves it so much makes it a worthwhile purchase - no matter how long it takes.
