Your desire to buy this product really depends on how you intend to use it. I bought this product from Tymo as I have their straightening comb. I think my expectations were a little higher than they should have been after seeing his ad on Instagram. Does this product dry out the hair? Yes. It doesn't have the extra power of many hair dryers on the market, but it works pretty well. This will take around 20 minutes depending on the texture and thickness of your hair. Does the product add volume? I would say yes I have a very strange hair texture at the moment. Some parts are curly, some are straight, and some are just not sure what they want to be. However, after my hair was completely dry, it got quite thick compared to using a regular hand dryer. Was it easy to use? I would also add maneuverability to this issue. I have pretty small hands and I could pick it up and move it around like any regular comb. It has the normal settings of a hand dryer and is very easy to operate by turning the knob. Will it curl and straighten? It depends on how you define judgment. If you want it straightened like a straightener, you're out of luck. If you want your hair to look straighter, maybe for a different style, then this should work. For hair textures like 3b to 2a this can be ideal. 3c to 4c, it may not work as you hope. It didn't work at all for curling and believe me I tried. However, I should note that the level of breakage I experienced while using this brush was minimal to zero. I can assume that a regular hand dryer has quite a few threads on the bottom; but he just didn't break my hair with it. This aspect alone is enough to recommend this product. It does what it's supposed to do, namely dry the hair and create volume.
