Review on 💡 CPS CSRU1 Compressor Saver - Energy-efficient Add-On for 1-3 Ton Units by Barry Taylor

Update 08/17/19: ---------------------- I just bought a clamp meter with inrush current and wanted to know how it was to win with this starter kit capacitor. I measured 80.5 A without it. With the 5-2-1 I measured 74.8 A. The LRA on the device is 73A so I'm getting close to the spec. This device is from 2005, so hopefully it will help keep it running longer. First review: ------ Received this after AC setup. My HVAC guy said my unit could benefit since it's 15 years old, but it will cost $390 to install and set up. I contacted a few other companies and they said it was an install kit. I have a 3t unit, this kit is within reach to get the job done. I ordered it from Revain (the price can't compete with the $390 HVAC guy). Installation was straightforward (don't forget to turn off the device first) and easy after watching a few YouTube videos. I can't tell if it's gotten better or worse since it's only been a week, but I look forward to seeing if it helps with my utility bills. I didn't notice any other noises when starting AC, did I? explodes, time will tell. Be sure to read the instructions before installing. You must pin up the relay tab and capacitor terminals or it may not work properly and will not hold. In the kit you will find a coupling, 2 screws, a starting capacitor, 1 relay and instructions. , so good.
