Review on 4K Ultra ELR POL Extender by Kham Fisk

Updated 07/09/16 The set-top box began to miss the signal frequently (almost every minute for a few seconds) and is currently unusable. I will post another update based on my success with the warranty exchange. First review: I bought this because I couldn't get a good signal out of a 50ft HDMI wall and for the most part it works great with 4k60hz signals. I don't see any noticeable latency or artifacts, and it's very nice to also be able to send 100Mbps Ethernet and IR over the same Cat6a cable. do the job I was hoping a simple cable + wall posts could do) is that it doesn't seem to know how to respond to Windows video hiding. As soon as Windows tries to turn off the video, the expansion box gets stuck in a loop of flashing lights, and switching sources on my receiver (or restarting) doesn't seem to resolve it if that's the case. Instead, I have to go to the power strip and physically remove and replace the cord to get it working again. Other than that it seems to work fine but I'm using it with a 2014 4k HDTV so I can't say how promising it is.
