Unsatisfactory, upset by this product.

I got this to replace the G35, which had served me honorably for eight years but eventually broke down in the usual spots. You were able to stand up and spin freely in your chair thanks to the G35 cable, which was three meters long and housed in an excellent sheath. The cable went completely around the table. The length of the cable on this model is 2 meters. What kind of use did the engineers envision for it? In order for the cord to pass through the keyboard and along the buttons, yes? Or insert into the slots on the front? It was unfortunate that extra one meter had to be allocated. When the microphone on the G35 was muted, a nice red indication showed up to let the user know that the microphone had been muted. Not only does this indicator not appear on this model, but there are also no settings to enable the addition of a hotkey that may be used to silence the microphone. It is unclear why and how this function was eliminated, but in my opinion, it is the function that is both the most basic and the most important. Because of these two drawbacks, utilizing this model is a torturous experience. You are always unable to touch the buttons because the cable is in the way, and you are also continually unaware of whether or not the microphone is turned on or off, so you are speaking to no one. Obviously, all of the information presented thus far is pertinent to my situation; but, it's possible that you don't need to turn off the microphone, as the unit is already placed on the table, or that an extension cord is available. Nonetheless, it is my civic responsibility to bring these issues to your attention. After that, make a decision for yourself.
