I bought a large one for my Chiviny who had surgery on her leg. The collar is wide enough (and she's short and thick enough) that she can't reach her seams. She doesn't usually wear anything, but she wears this without fuss. It's a lot more comfortable and a lot easier to get home from the vet than if we were to use a plastic e-collar. I ordered a second one so I can change it for washing. She has no problem eating or drinking with him and even uses him as a pillow. She's pretty darn gorgeous in it too, which is a bonus.
