I literally measured my waist as required and they fit like a normal pair. That means they are too big in the waist. Since they come from across the sea, you can't just give them back like you normally would. The design of the knee pad is such that when your knee is at a 90 degree angle (I'm on a Harley Dyna with front footpegs) the flap that closes the knee pad lifts to reveal a bright yellow pad . Looks pretty cheap. If you ride a sports bike with your foot behind your knee, you probably won't have this problem. I would be much happier with the right size.
