This net is worth its weight in gold! I bought this in late December and have since fed 4 large round bales (our bales are 4ft x 5ft) and it is perfect for my 4 horses. Horses not only maintained their weight over the winter, they also gained weight. No wasted hay and the net is easy to put on and does the job perfectly! I bought a small net after reading a review here that said it would fit a 4x5 foot bale and that review was correct. Our bales weigh 1100-1200 lbs and the little buddy easily fits into a bale this size. We captured a bale on the ground as well as a howling lance on our tractor, both of which are easy to do. Not only do our horses look great, they have reduced the problems with feed aggression that we had in the past because they are now offered a choice of hay. I can't say enough good things about this network and it's worth it! We put our bales on a wooden pallet in the shed and have no problems with moisture and mould. The bale stays dry and the pallet lets air through.
