I bought this extension cord in September. I needed an outlet to plug in some electronics because all the outlets in my room are behind the furniture. Tonight, December 12th, my phone needed charging. I connected the charger and then the phone and nothing happened. I checked the strip and the light that says my stuff is 'protected' and the switch light is off! I flipped the switch and it flickered but didn't light up. I cycled the switch several times and pushed the switch to the "on" position. It appeared and then went out and then appeared. I moved the whole thing and then it finally came back, but I'm afraid to move the whole block because I need outlets. So now I'm buying a new extension cord which I hope will last more than THREE MONTHS. On the plus side, I like outlet covers that protect the device itself from everything. The flat profile connector is also very practical. On the other hand, it seems that when it moves it stops working. For reference, the device has not been dropped or otherwise abused. He's been sitting on the floor with outlets for the past 3 months. Sigh. So not worth the money and I would NOT recommend the product.
