I bought it to expand the network in the back room, in principle, because of the smart TV and took it. Periodic use, only when I want to watch on TV. I set it up via a wired connection from a laptop. Everything went fine with no problems. There are 3 modes in the settings: normal (accepts the basic network distributes 2.4 and 5) and two "accelerated" modes, accepts the basic network 2.4 distributes 5, accepts the basic network 5 distributes 2.4. It is impossible to forcefully turn off any frequency. By default, it creates the same network 2.4 + 5 and adds_5G to the name. I used it for more than a month, I did not find any problems, only the top (there are probably antennas located there) gets quite hot. I pull out and insert all the rules into the socket, all the settings do not fall off. ate! Found a glitch for March 2022 firmware not fixed. If you set the high speed mode - communication with the base point at 5GHz and distributes 2.4GHz, then access to the settings falls off, in general! BUT, the device itself continues to work and works properly with the new settings. Once the high speed mode is enabled, no further adjustment is possible. I do not want to carry a guarantee, on off. The site for this model has 2 variants of the hardware version, perhaps this is a hardware glitch and the manufacturer knows about it and released V2. If you make a hardress, then everything is restored to the factory settings.
