The only good thing one can say about this item is the nice design (colors and decoration ideas). It ends there. They sent garbage products twice. The first one had several cosmetic defects, but the big ones were the misaligned boot detail and the misaligned gems on the boots, with one gem fallen off on arrival. (See photo.) Returned and then requested a replacement. That replacement was worse! Even more cosmetic defects -- chips in wood, dirty spots, glue clumps, bad painting, misaligned paint details and gems. (See photos.) Now requested refund. Too bad because the color choices were nice. I understand they were "handmade," but the quality wasn't good.Ebay beef #1:I was a little wary of purchasing this item because the seller is located in China. (Come on Ebay!) Sure, a lot of other sellers sell stuff made in China. But, so far it's been a red flag (literally) if the seller is also there -- product quality is sub-par and prices are higher for some reason. So, it turned out to be true in this case again unfortunately.Ebay beef #2:Ebay allowed first return at a local Kohl's. Great. The second one had to be returned at a UPS Store. Why?Anyway, I'm going to order a different drummer nutcracker from a seller in NY, even though the item is also made in China. I hope that seller holds the manufacturer to a high standard.
