I found the sizing recommendations questionable. The suggested breeds combined with the actual sizes just didn't match. Thanks to informative reviews from other cat buyers. I ignored the suggested small one and went for the medium one. And I had to go with more. I have a 9 pound very active Canadian Sphynx. And with its slim body and lack of fur, the medium size fits perfectly. Until it meets water and the inevitable shrinkage ruins any chance of wearing it again. I usually order clothes that are specially made for the Sphinx. So I had a feeling that this would become a problem once the manufacturer started calling the cats small.
