The quality of the strap is good for the price but there is one big flaw that affects the Garmin 235. Due to the design, the buckle will again put pressure on your wrist if you need to tighten it very tight Get the HRM to work properly, see my uploaded image. Since the straps are the same size, I can use the old buckle. If you have another model like 220/230, it's not a problem. The new strap is too soft for it to stay locked, as some reviewers have noted, and I had to scrap the old one as well. I also don't like the crumpled black finish that makes the strap look boring. I wear it for a few days and there is no skin reaction and it keeps the watch in place like the original. I hesitated with tool complaints until I got mine. One of these is broken and spinning freely so I have to wait another week to get a replacement. Why didn't the seller check the item before shipping? I took off a star for the buckle and strap design, which doesn't match the 235.
