Very happy with this purchase! It hasn't entirely stopped me from removing makeup with cotton pads, but it has become my go-to eye makeup remover every night. So far, the pads are perfectly washable and stay clean, and the small bag that comes with the kit is ideal for washing. They are very soft and absorbent - maybe even too absorbent so they hold a little more makeup remover than a disposable pad. and because they retain moisture, we don't feel as wet as a cotton pad. But in general, they're ideal for those who care about reducing waste. The bamboo container is well made and looks beautiful, although when it arrived it was made from raw unfinished bamboo, so I rubbed some mineral oil on the outside to give it a deeper color and protect the wood. Now it's perfect!
