Easy to install filter!

I have this to replace the pitcher style filter setting. To be honest I'm impressed. I needed some power tools but they just made things easier. I also used a level. You can use a tape measure and a Phillips screwdriver. First remove the bracket from the filter housing. You hold it where it is level and mark the screw holes. Make sure you place it close enough for the included PEX hose to reach the cold water connection. Then you take a screwdriver and tighten the screws at the marked points. The point is to make sure the bracket can slide over the screws. Therefore, before driving it in completely, check the mounting of the bracket after a short ride. Once you can get the bracket over the screws and insert it into the small slots, you can take it all the way off and continue driving in until you have about 1/8 inch of room. You can use a drill. Pre-drill the hole to make it easier. This can also help hardwoods as hardwoods can splinter, which is unlikely given the size of the screw, but better safe than sorry. Place the filter assembly back onto the bracket and connect the plexiglass tubing. Install a new plastic diffuser, which is a 3/4" or 19mm wrench. This also assumes you've already turned off the water and removed the hose to the cold water tap at the faucet. Install the plastic outlet, install the Pex pipe, making sure the first pipe installed is the water inlet, which goes to the water inlet of the filter. Then put pin and put on pin. Those are fast connections! You just click on them until they reach the bottom. When you are finished installing the assembly and hoses, simply align the filter, slide in and rotate to install and secure, then turn on the water. Be sure to turn on the water at the faucet to remove all air from the filter. This affects the flow rate of the cold. But you also get clean, cold tap water! I'm impressed, although it took a lot of words to describe it, but the general gist is this. Align, screw, assemble, install, pipe, install plastic elbow, install pipework, install filter, turn on water, let water flow until air comes out of the system.
