Didn't work for my cat but after reading about flea collars I found out they are better against ticks than fleas. This is because they simply kill fleas in the throat area. It also appears to be one of those foods that kills fleas when they bite a cat. The problem for me was that my cat developed a skin reaction to fleas. In my opinion, this could work as a preventive treatment. Instead I just got a topical treatment and bought a spray to combat his skin reaction. WARNING: If you combine more than one flea treatment, your cat could become seriously ill or even die. It is not recommended to give them more than once a month. After reading so many reviews about sick cats in different products, I did a little research and came across this product. Maybe it's not the product, but the cat's inability to tolerate so many pesticides. I hope this is helpful
