First of all I really like the idea of the product. Sophisticated functions and simple operation. The shelves and drawer latches are excellent and work smoothly. Providing labels for the boxes is a nice touch (I printed my own labels on paper and cut them out). Amazing how the drawers lock together thanks to the safe and easy locking system. I really like the texture, colors and strength of the plastic chosen. Be careful, I received one of the TSTAK boxes with a lid broken in transit. Seems a bit fragile so I wouldn't subject it to hard knocks. And here's the downside: the box design is poorly designed and manufactured. The shelf under the bottom drawer curves up so the bottom drawer drags behind it. This is mentioned in some other reviews and you can see it in pictures of DeWalt products. But worst of all, the support legs are positioned so that the bottom shelf flexes even more into the bottom drawer, even more so with heavier loads in the toolbox. I expect this to get worse as the plastic warps over time. Please note that this is not a problem when stacking the drawer on top of other TSTAK drawers as the bottom legs are unaffected (the load goes through the side panels). One way to solve the bottom drawer support problem can be to purchase a caster stand. . I fixed this by attaching 4 wooden legs to my bottom drawer (painted them black) to support the drawer on the side panels. Of less concern, with heavier boxes I'm not sure they will lean down over time. I would have easily given 5 stars if it weren't for the crooked bottom shelf and poorly placed support legs. I almost gave it 3 stars. DeWalt: Do you read these reviews? Come on, pull yourself together. They have built a fantastic reputation over the years. Don't spoil it. Unfortunately, once the slide into incompetence begins, mediocrity seems inevitable. I have many of your great products and I still look to DeWalt first rather than other brands. The two main errors related to this product are: 1) How long did it take you to deliver the castings? Can't you already manage your projects and suppliers in a way that allows you to form a bottom shelf that isn't too contorted? 2) The first rule of design is to consider the load path. You should be ashamed of yourself. Who signed the drawing? They incorporated the side panels as load-bearing elements, the drawers distribute the load well, and the attached tool boxes appear to be well held. In the case of the lower legs, you then dramatically shift the application points of the load away from the shelf with insufficient moment carrying capacity. Of course you'd have to redesign your blocking/interfacing capabilities, but you need to start with something that works structurally.
