Review on 🔧 Dorman 600-910 Transfer Case Shift Motor: Ideal for Compatible Models by Gary Duncan

This was the second encoder I bought. The first one in the box had a plastic bracket ripped off and the gear was in the wrong position. Returned without problems, the second works perfectly. My only suggestion would be to make sure that the rack on the transfer case is properly aligned as there is no room to adjust or maneuver with this encoder motor. Installation is easy and only takes about 50 minutes in total. I spoke to a GM engineer about this and this encoder motor often fails. My truck has 180,000 miles so I can't say it broke down early.
