I bought this jug to replace an old jug that couldn't be cleaned. I really wish there was a glass in there as I find the stainless steel interiors change the taste of the drink. When I first received this item, it had the same issue as another reviewer: the glass liner was not properly seated in the outer container. I simply unscrewed the bottom of the container, inserted the glass liner into the rubber seal and no problems since. I use this daily to make enough tea for my daughter and I to enjoy all morning and it works great. As far as I can remember I fill the pitcher with about 175 F water at night to "fill" it up and when I'm done in the morning I empty it and brew tea in it (the temperature dropped to about 135 after about 135 F F). 8 hours). Then we drink tea all morning and it stays warm. It works much better than my last thermos and is much easier to use. I liked that the neck of this tea was a bit larger - it's all relative - as the teabags are easier to get in and out of (I use a brand without strings so I need a spoon). Unlike the lid on my last jar, this one unscrews easily and once you unscrew it you know when it's sealed. I also like that it's a bit more stylish than my last pitcher. All in all a great purchase at a great price!
