Only hassles with printers and supplies

I've only had hassles with all of those. I like the idea of the eco tanks, so I'm disappointed that it didn't work out. The first 3760 I got had a gap between the lid and the jar; hard to explain except that it was a caddivompus as the hinges holding it in place were warped. I called Epson, they agreed it was defective and sent me a replacement - refurbished was my only option. At that point I was tired of dealing with it, so I didn't fight it and accepted it. I installed a new one and now it periodically hangs for me. I decided I was done with it and wanted to return it. I started a chat online - I tried to scan twice and the second time it worked so he said it was fixed and there was nothing he could do. I told him this was not acceptable, sporadic success means I still want him back. He said to call support. So I call support, it's clear from the start that I don't want to troubleshoot, I want to return it. Half an hour later they called the manager back and said "We do not recommend using the scanner for folded pages, this ADF is not configured for that". But since it works - sometimes - to scan unused blank sheets, they will not consider it defective and will not return it. I wasted hours trying to get these printers to work. I've had other printers/scanners that can scan mail/crumpled pages without jamming. This is unacceptable to me.TLDR; may be suitable for you if you only copy/scan perfectly straight and even sheets, or if you can spend hours of your life scanning individual pages one at a time.

Pros
  • Hassle free printing - up to 2 years of ink per box (4) - and with every replacement ink set - fewer ink empty hassles
Cons
