This is a well constructed power strip/surge protector with 7 grounded outlets and a heavy duty, well insulated 14 AWG bright yellow power cord. The outlets are spaced appropriately, with one of the outlets separated from the other six to facilitate the use of power without interfering with the use of other outlets. Install it near an outlet. The band can be attached with two (or four optional) screws (not included). The only problem is that there is no template for installing the screws in the kit. It's not hard to get right, but I've always liked floorboards with mounting holes around the perimeter, not the back. The power button glows orange when the power strips are on.
