This is a great addition to any kitchen. I've always wanted to make my own bean tea and this made it easy. Not too loud, but the whistle is audible. Better than microwave tea. I think it's a necessity and it's quite cheap. Feel free to buy. Thanks to the stainless steel housing, it is very easy to clean.
