In the early to mid 90's I had some really good systems that I built for myself and friends and even entered some competitions in the 150-160dB classes. Now that I'm older I don't really need such a system. In any case, this little box is a great addition for those with a standard head unit or a basic aftermarket head unit with 4 channels of 25W to 50W each. I literally spent $260 on the entire stereo system on my 2005 Silverado 2500hd. A $60 Pioneer head unit, $25 5.5-inch front speakers, $35 6x8 rear speakers, and that little box between the front seats was the middle jump seat. very sharp. Try centering it in the car like I did and you won't be disappointed. Best $100 audio purchase I've ever made.
