Quality product with quality control issues

I have to say right away that the build quality of this boom is actually pretty good. I would say it's almost comparable to the Impact brand. For years, Neewer has been producing reasonably priced equipment with very affordable quality. That means they lacked quality. Over the past year, however, Neewer has tweaked his game. The quality of their products has improved significantly and this arrow is a good example of that. The main boom tube is thick. The tube walls feel thick and don't have the hollow feel of other budget hands. The locking handle does a great job of locking the telescoping inner tube. They also include a hair pin for an easy stand. But there's a problem, and it's a problem that's all too common with the Neewer gear I've gotten in the past. Parts were missing. There were no mounting screws or bushings in the box. Unfortunately, I've had a similar issue with numerous Neewer products over the years. It's a shame because the quality of the product is actually quite good. Just be aware that if you choose to do this, chances are there are parts missing. If I get everything I ordered I would probably rate it 5 stars.

Pros
  • Arrows and legs
Cons
  • Mostly good but...
