I usually wear pants in size 32 (sometimes 33) depending on the brand/cut and got an "S". When I received the strap it only fit comfortably in the last/loosest hole. So I sent it back and got "M". Now, of course, it only fits in the narrowest hole. I had to send it back as I seem to have fallen between the right size. It just didn't look right at the first or last strap hole. I wish they made the strap size between small and medium. Otherwise it looked like a good belt.
