Well built, functional and attractive, this plate was perfect for mounting behind my home theater wall mounted front speakers. The access board has a plastic holder on the back that I attached my cables to to keep them from accidentally sliding into the wall. I installed the second plate about 48 inches below the speaker at the level of the outlet. My speakers are plugged into an outlet, so I hid the power cord in the wall and came out of the wall a few inches from the outlet. That. I bought my low voltage box for less than $2 each at my local big box store.
