Review on 🌿 Matrix Total Results Dark Envy Color-Depositing Green Shampoo: Neutralize Red Undertones, Enhance Dark Hair with a Cool, Glossy Finish by Kristina Perez

I bought this shampoo because I dye my hair a very dark green and I thought yes! ! I realized this product was for natural hair color so I called Matrix customer service to make sure it could be used on my hair color to get the desired results (durability and color retention). The rep assured me it would work for my Sailor Pluto style hair. I enthusiastically started applying it to my fading emerald locks. Well it works, but not in the way I was hoping. My beautiful emerald hair is more like a sapphire now. A very nice sapphire, but not an emerald. I realize I didn't use the product on dark brown/black hair as directed, but I was hoping there would be a true green color. Otherwise the shampoo is great! I LOVE the smell, it lathers amazingly and leaves my hair soft (and scented) enough to get compliments from my boyfriend. He touched up my shower curtain a bit (no stains, I can feel the difference) but that's probably something I'm the only one noticing. I intend to continue using this shampoo all the way, so I'll let you know if any color change occurs!
