MacbookPro 2007 Update

This drive is silent. 7200 rpm makes it fast. It is installed on a MacbookPro 2007. I will update this review if there are any issues. I found some great suggestions on how to upgrade hard drive in Macbook Pro.1. Clone Mac to external drive with CarbonCopyCloner by downloading CNET for free or other reputable site. )2. Replace your Mac's internal drive using the very detailed and illustrated guide from the Extremetech.3 website. Plug in an external drive (I used FireWire) and turn on the Mac. Mine automatically booted from an external drive.4. Clone the external drive to the internal drive, then open System Preferences, boot the drive and select the new internal drive.5. Turn your Mac off and on again. Did. i love mac It took about 3 hours to be very careful. It costs about $6 for a #6 Torx and #000 Phillips screwdriver and about $100 for an external drive. The local store charged almost double that for the drive, plus $100 for installation and $100 for data transfer. I want to give kudos to the brilliant reviewer at Amazon who suggested using CarbonCopyCloner, but I can't find the original post. This person has saved me hours of software reboots. Much luck.
