Review on ๐Ÿ”Š Enhance Your Car Audio Experience with KICKER 47KSC2704 KSC Series 2 3/4 Inch Midrange Speakers (Pair) by William Burnett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Absolutely excellent! Don't be fooled by their small size - they work!

Sound and music have been my lifelong hobbies, and while I don't consider myself a music lover, I have a pretty good ear for great sound. I recently bought a 4th gen Mazda 3 with a non-Bose setup. While the stock sound wasn't terrible, it certainly wasn't great to my liking or satisfaction. I added a 10" kicker subwoofer to give it just the right amount of punch and fill in the low end gaps. I replaced the tweeters with a Dayton AMT set and they gave a whole new dimension and definition. Then I replaced them. Midrange (front + rear) with Dayton Reference Series speakers, but this is where things got worse and midrange became harsh and confusing. I decided to replace the Daytons with these 2.75" front kickers and a set of 4" rear kickers. It was like day and night. I'll confess when I first looked at the Kicker 2.75" they looked tiny and I was pretty skeptical. Boy was I wrong. These speakers sound amazing, the clarity, detail and warmth are fantastic no matter what I push them they don't distort at all (they're powered by a standard head unit amp) My EQ is set to a flat level and there don't seem to be any gaps and everything plays well together I've tested them with all genres of music and they just wowed me. I believe that over time these mids will open up more and reveal their true potential, but even after a bit of testing I had to come and write a review and share the results. Another thing to watch out for One thing to look out for is the price because you can't go wrong for $50 and when you consider these little kickers, they really are worth the money.
