I had a broken wire on my original Lenovo charger so I bought this to replace it. It worked great for the first 4 months that I used it, but then it suddenly stopped working (this is not cable damage like my original 5 year old charger). I was able to use half the charging cable that plugs into the wall and combine it with my old charger, but I think the converter box failed on this charger.
