Review on Xiaomi Mi ANC Type-C In-Ear Earphones by Agata Tkaczyk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

Due to the fact that my headphones stopped working while I was away on business, I had to purchase new ones. Active noise cancellation is something that has been on my wish list for a very long time. Initial plans called for me to purchase a Sony WI-1000X, but when I got there I discovered that it would cost an outrageous amount more than it would in Hong Kong. As a result, I opted for the MI ANC as a stopgap measure, which will give you an idea of what active noise reduction is like. To therefore lessen the amount of noise. The noise from the highway, the noise from the air conditioner, and the hum in the office are all significantly reduced as a result. I haven't taken a ride on the subway as of yet. The sound of water, squeaks, and voices are not muffled when noise reduction is used. And at first, when I heard the voice, I was under the impression that they were doing it on purpose; however, later on, I found some information about the noise reduction range. In most cases, the absence of a voice is not noticeable or bothersome; however, this is not the case when the music is playing on the bus and the driver turns it on. The noise canceler itself is very quiet, constantly and monotonously rustling while it is operating, which, in general, you almost immediately forget about. At first, there were feelings that the noise canceler didn't really work, but as soon as you turn it off, all of its advantages become obvious. It was the sound. The voice is clear, and all of the nuances and intonations can be heard. The remaining headphones let you enjoy the music, but they don't take you to an ecstatic state when you listen to it. It's possible that what's important here is not the headphones, but rather the device (MI MAX 2) that serves as the source of the sound; however, with type-c, there is no specific option for the source of the sound. There is no occurrence of discomfort even after prolonged use. Construct with care. On the second day, before playing kicker, I placed the headphones without a case in my back pocket. After the game, I took it out and looked for the on/off button for the noise reduction, but I could not find it. The button is located in the pocket of the jacket. I immediately put it back, and it has been sitting in the same place for the past two weeks now. Convenience. They fit very comfortably in the ear, and if it weren't for the wire, one might even forget they're there. The wire is very long, perhaps even a touch longer than is strictly required (my height is 177cm). The rustling sound that the wire makes when it brushes against clothing is audible, but it is tolerable. The only thing that drives me crazy is when they start talking into the microphone! It seems as though he is always getting caught on the collar of his shirt. In addition to that, they frequently bring up the fact that they are able to hear me speaking quietly. Eventually. In general, the expectations are reasonable, and the value that they receive for their money is commensurate.

Pros
  • Extremely relaxing and cozy. They fit snugly in the ear canals like a glove (a bunch of rubber adapters are included, the noise isolation really depends on them). Active suppression of ambient noise. The remote control is easy to use, with the exception of the button that turns the device on and off.
Cons
  • Microphone. Squelch range 50-2022 Hz.
