Review on MBD01 10 Inch Serrated Knife Premium Stainless by Darren Anderson

Do not worry. Try Paudin's Knife instead.

I don't know why this Imarku knife gets such high marks. My experience was disappointing. It was originally an imposing knife; scary sharp right away, and I mean scary to the point that this knife will bite you if you don't fully concentrate on what you're doing! (This may or may not have happened to me. I'm not saying). After first use I washed and dried it and put it back in the presentation box it came in. The second time I used it, there were half a dozen light brown spots on the metal! The only way to remove these stains is to rub them with the back of a metal-scratching sponge. They claim that these knives are made from German carbon steel. Ah, I don't think so! High quality German steel is very difficult to paint and/or rust and will certainly not paint or rust after first use! I am not satisfied with this purchase! When I wanted to buy an all-purpose kitchen knife, I really wanted to stay away from Chinese junk and go for a German knife. But without spending a fortune, it's difficult. I chose a relatively new company called Paudin. Yes, a Chinese company. This brand is way better than imarku and Paudin offer a solid guarantee that you will be happy with your purchase, or they will refund or replace it anytime no matter how long you have had one of their knives, no questions asked. I've used the powder knife a dozen times. NO staining, NO rust film and very good edge retention. NO, I do not receive any compensation from Paudin. Just one happy Paudin customer.

Pros
  • 🔪 ERGONOMIC WOODEN HANDLE: The ergonomic shape of the bread knife handle improves the grip in practice, making it easier for the user to cut bread, avoiding pressure on the wrist and making work in the kitchen easier, and is also comfortable for left-handers.
