Apparently those who design these products don't have rabbits! That's a good start, but it's wrong in many ways. It is very easy to clean, however I cleaned several times each day as the tray is not deep enough. If you know rabbits, they gather in one place when they poop, and there are a lot of them. When they pee in the same spot, they pee with their backs to the grate and now they step on it, but this time it's worse because it's wet and on plastic instead of trash. It was more work than it was worth, which is why I returned. to my tray for $10. This box is large, but still not big enough for a hay rack and two rabbits weighing about 4 pounds. The description of this product is misleading and not entirely accurate as what they consider deep is still not deep enough for rabbits. And keep bacteria and urine away? Um not really. The only thing I liked was there was less poop on the floor because they didn't throw it in the tub when they jumped out. But you will change and clean this item once or twice a day instead of once or twice every few days. It's not worth it!
